The 1st Annual Race to Keep Kids on Track, in short, is an evening of go-kart races (in professional level karts) against the 2009 Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. The race will also include:
- Surprise celebrity racers/appearances
- Music
- Fully stocked bar
- Great food from local restaurants
… and all proceeds will benefit at-risk youth from the Greater Denver Metro area.
Organized by the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and the Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation, the race was created to encourage more people to support the critical needs of at-risk youth within our community, so more of our youth have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Friday Evening, August 14th, 2009 - VIP Qualifying: The event kicks off Friday evening, August 14th at The Track with closed-to-the-public VIP and Cheerleader Qualifying Trials. Hosted by the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, VIP guests and event sponsors will gain a competitive edge over other drivers with strategic coaching tips, practice laps, and exclusive qualifying time trials for Saturday’s race. The evening will also include the rare opportunity for a VIP autograph signing and photo session with the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders! Start your engines!
Saturday Evening, August 15th, 2009 is Race Day: While drivers run qualifying time trials, spectators enjoy music, great food, a fully stocked bar, and the opportunity to see exhibition races by karting professionals. The excitement will continue when the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders suit up and get behind the wheel for the final races against qualifying round finalists.
